Discover Vinho Verde (Green Wine) at our winery

Zarague is a very recent project in the world of green wines. The first wine to be released was Zarague – Alvarinho 2017. The vineyard is young and began to be planted in 2013, increasing every year since then.

Location

Zarague is produced at Quinta de Sant'Iago Mayor, a family estate, located in Vila Sêca, Barcelos.

Vinho Verde is a DOC for the production of wine and originated in the Minho province in northern Portugal. The wines are light and fresh and present vibrant colors (white and rosé). Alvarinho, Arinto, Loureiro e Trajadura are the grape varieties planted in our vineyards and used in the production of Vinho Verde at our winery.
